Island Amaro

The second release from the Sabbatical seasonal β€œHarvest Series,” Island Amaro is inspired by the rich tradition of a bitter spirit that developed across Europe over centuries in diverse styles to reflect the harvests of the region. In the case of our home on Victoria Island Farms we turned to its famous California asparagus crop whose roots give this blonde amaro its characteristic bitterness, the key component in an amaro. Bitterness encourages bile production which will stimulate appetite or help digest after indulging in a large meal.

Lightly sweet and earthy with hints of candied citrus and bright pepper. Traditionally enjoyed chilled, best enjoyed in a cocktail or as a bookend to a meal as an aperitif/digestif.

Drink Before Eating | Mix with sparkling water wine or both over ice to set the table for a fine meal. Add a seasonal fruit garnish for a refreshing island spritz
Drink After Eating | Sip neat or on the rocks after an indulgent dinner
Drink Local | Elevate your cocktails from a negroni to a boulavardier by replacing other amaros such as Campari with this uniquely local spirit with real farm roots

23% Alc / Vol
