Membership FAQ’s & information

  • Customers must be 21+ to participate in Club Sabbatical. Recipients must be present in California to receive their spirits box either via UPS delivery or local store pickup.

  • Your first order will be fulfilled in the current quarter at the time of signing up. Unless otherwise requested, you will not be charged again for at least 3 months when you receive the following quarter’s Club member box.

    To check your next scheduled order date, simply Log In on our site by clicking “Account” from the top header menu then click “Subscription” and you will see the timing of your next order under “Active subscriptions

    Club membership includes a maximum of 4 subscription orders in a calendar year with no minimum commitment. To adjust your quarterly order timing please send us a message with your preferred change.

  • Every Club Sabbatical member box is packed with value above the subscription price. Built-in discounts to your quarterly subscription combined with members-only perks provide an estimated annual savings of 20%-40% on average, varying by tier, individual box and use of free perks

  • All membership boxes are available for store pickup, while Best of Class and Double Gold members also have the option to select free shipping in California. You will select a default option during your original Club signup but can adjust fulfillment preferences for one or all future orders by letting us know ahead of your next order date.

    For local store pickup fulfillment, you may use only your billing address to complete the form at checkout.

  • You will be asked to create an account login when signing up. Once active, you can return to our site at any time and login to update your information, change payment details, or cancel your subscription.

    Please save your account verification email at the time of signup for reference — you can always return to this link for future logins. Please contact us if you’d like to request a change to your order schedule.

  • If you’d like to order a club subscription as a gift, place an order using the California delivery address of the recipient during checkout (you can still choose store pickup as a fulfillment option under their name). Then simply log back into your account to cancel the subscription after your desired # of boxes are sent.

    Leave us a note at checkout if you’d like us to leave out any payment information or add a custom gift message. Check back soon for options to purchase membership packages with pre-determined frequencies and end-dates.

  • All shipments are delivered via UPS and require adult signature upon arrival. We are currently only authorized to ship spirits within California.

    If you are out of state but plan to be back in town at some point, you can still place an order and select “store pickup” at checkout (please still include a CA “shipping” address to complete checkout — our distillery address can be filled in here). Please leave a note at checkout to indicate your hold preference and we will keep your goods in temperature controlled storage until you’re ready to collect, free of charge. 

    If an initial order has already been placed, send us an email with details referencing your order # and expected date/time of pickup.

  • 1/4 of your annual free tours are available to redeem immediately at the time of signup with the remainder vesting to your account with each subsequent Club order i.e. 2 free tours / order for Best of Class Members.

    Use the form below to redeem free tours or set up a private event (available to Best of Class Members after 1 year of membership). Feel free to give us a call or send us a note with details and we’ll take care of it for you.

    You can also make a reservation directly on our tour booking page and book only the number of spots for paid tours while leaving a note during checkout indicating the number of additional tour spots you’d like to redeem as free Club Member tours and we’ll add them to your reservation at no charge.

    If you don’t use all of your tours in a given year, they will roll over to the next year to use at your convenience.

  • Best of Class (10% off) and Double Gold (5% off) members can apply their everyday discounts on all purchases made at the distillery bottle shop year-round.

    Additional in-store discounts are offered to all Club members regardless of level on select items such as Straight from the Barrel Bourbon bottles and used whiskey barrels.

    To redeem your discounts please have your Club Member Card or ID present matching the name on file for your subscription. Member discount is available for all in-store shop purchases based on your active Club Member level. Additional Club member exclusive e-commerce discounts are shared with members via email seasonally.

  • If you need to take a quick break, just make sure to let us know in advance of your next order and we’ll adjust your schedule to skip a quarterly cycle. No problem.

  • First off, you’re already great and receive exclusive rewards just by being a member, no matter what. Our active members have already enjoyed exclusive access to our award-winning Club Members only single barrel bourbon releases (sold out!), member exclusive distillery events, free whiskey classes and more with new exciting perks added regularly! We appreciate your support!

Technical Support

  • After logging in to our site, you can review and update account information by clicking Account in the top navigation. A menu opens on the right where you can select one of the following for more details:

    • Orders

    • Subscriptions (next order date)

    • Payment

    • Address

    • Profile

    1. Log into your customer account on our website

    2. Click Subscriptions

    3. Click Payment Method

    4. Click Update Payment Method

  • Sign in to your Sabbatical account and then:

    • Click Account, then click Profile

    • Click current email address

    • In the New field, enter the new email address

    • In the Confirm new field, enter the new email address again

    • Click Save

    • Watch for an email to verify the change to your new email address

    • Click Verify email in the message to complete the process

  • To change the permanent shipping address for subscriptions, please cancel the current subscription and resubscribe using your updated shipping details. Contact us to request a one-time change to fulfillment for an upcoming order.
